honestly, when he decided not to run, the economy was good and trump is an incumbent president
he probably just said fukk it, the dem this year is gonna be a sacrificial lamb. it's more than likely given the patterns
He believes the Dems winning a Senate majority is a high priority. And his seat in a state that now leans red would be replaced by a GOP governor.
Sen. Brown won his 2018 race by 7%. But the Dem running for Governor (Rich Cordray) lost by 4%.
