settings
network
setup internet connection
use a lan cable (or wireless) - whatever you use
custom
ip address settings - automatic
dhcp host name - do not specify
dns server - manual
- primary dns 8.8.8.8 (google open dns server)
- secondary dns 8.8.4.4 (google open dns server backup)

mtu settings - automatic
proxy server - do not use


If Google's DNS doesn't work, use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Both of you use the open dns servers below in your internet setup for your PS4. TRUST ME.

For IP address do automatic

But when you do your DNS address, do manual and enter the following servers

DNS1: 208.67.222.222
DNS2: 208.67.220.220

Google also has an open DNS address, but we know they track everything. Won't hurt on a console though. Their shyts are

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the backup.

Use the 208 Address Open DNS addresses though, they are better without the intrusion, security issues, etc.

That goes for everyone having connection issues. DO THE EXACT SAME THING. USING YOUR ISP DNS SERVERS SUCK! YOU CAN SET THEM UP MANUALLY ABOVE OR DO IT AT THE ROUTER LEVEL IF YOU LIKE.
