I should be ashamed to ask this but I’m pulling out my hair. If you need to send $7,500-$15,000+, would a wire transfer be your best bet? If your bank supports it?

Like if I know the other persons account and routing number, can’t I just add that info under “external accounts” on my banks mobile app and send the money? I’m transferring money to myself at another bank I have an account at.

This is the kind of stuff they needa teach in schools:snoop:

Appreciate it. I had to go in branch to 2 banks today and they both said just come in and they’ll take care of the wire

You should talk to your bank. Mine had a limit of 6K a day so had to spread it out over several transactions which each having its own fee.

"While you can transfer funds from your PayPal account to your bank for free, there is a fee for instant transfers: 1% of the transfer amount, capped at $10 per transaction."

it sounds like u can send it to their paypal from your bank, and they can then instantly send it to their bank for $10.

I've got my savings accounts linked and can do $1500 in external transfers per day. Only drawback is you're federally limited to 6 per month with a savings, and you'd probably get flagged if you did 6 at the limit in consecutive days.
