And in honor of Nas stans not being fakketz as of late

I want to reintroduce myself to Nas

Last Nas album I listened to front to back was God's Son....but it was becomin such an annoyance of ppl downplayin my fave rapper that I stopped checkin for him completely

Fcked with his singles aftwerwards but not enough to check for the albums

And especially when Hov came back..Lord knows that singles like "Hip Hop is Dead" and "Hero" was not gon make me check for his sht

ANyways before i start ramblin

Nas stans..Out of all the albums post God's Son...which album should I listen to to reintroduce myself to Nas:ahh:

After Illmatic his career is 'meh', very average. Which is why in the real world his name doesn't pop up in the GOAT discussion.

Life is good is his best produced album since illmatic/it was written imo.

Yea I did fukk with the singles for that album moreso than I did for a long time(since Street's disciples singles) but i'll wait a lil longer

I have to make sure its the right Nas album :youngsabo:

10 years is a long time...if you are serious and not trolling...you should start from the beginning and listen to everything in the order it was released. I personally have done that with other artists after taking a break from their music.

im going to try life is good. i havent listened to a nas album since HHID (which i liked a lot) but nothing really inspired me to listen to anything after that. not even him killing features like TBD cause i remember when he killed that diddy track a few years ago and i was hoping the album would sound like that, and we got HHID instead. been fooled too many times :smh:

Nas is an AMAZING rapper but the only albums of his I care to listen to are Illmatic and It Was Written.

The rest of his albums are boring and are a blur.

I haven't even listened to Distant Relatives yet and I bought that shyt too.
