Do any of you know how you are suppose to moisturize a mini afro?
I'm black and i've been using damn near everything, I've used pink lotion, coconut oil, olive oil, jojobo oil and
I still get dandruff.I figured I'm not moisturizing correctly. I put a product in my hair, brush it in, and everything
seems fine, then the next day I wake up dandruff. Anybody got a real solution?

Dandruff comes from dry skin right? not hair.

I don't have black hair, but I think head and shoulders would work right?

I;ve used head and shoulders and celsium blue. I was looking on youtube and I saw these videos on how to moisturize your hair.
But the ppl on there could pull their hair with two hands and whatnot. I only got a mini afro and that ish is always breaking

Is it dandruff or caked up product?

You need to lose the pink lotion because that stuff is garbage. The oils you listed are sealants rather than moisturizers (except maybe the coconut oil).

You should moisturizer with some silicone free conditioner mixed with a little water or a little s-curl no drip and seal with olive oil.

Use shampoos with tea tree oil. I used to have a similar problem. A lot of regular shampoos will dry you out.

Water is the best moisturizer, you just have to seal it in. I prefer a combo of olive and jojoba oil followed by shea butter. Have you tried clarifying?
