Boris Diaw is a 6'8 FORWARD CENTER... meaning that he was too fat to be a Lebron type Forward but too short to be a Power Forward.

He is in my estimation the fattest player in the NBA finals at current, and not in great shape even by normal standards.

He is not laterally quick nor has he ever been regarded as a great defender.

Regardless of the fallacious statement by Public Enemies, there is no way in hell that would happen, Kobe would eat him alive. LBJ is getting exposed for not having a real jumper. The way the Diaw is guarding Lebron is he's playing off and daring him to shoot just like everyone else on the Spurs. When Lebron tries to drive at him, he has a big body, long arms, and deceptively quick hands to bother him, and he's been in good position.

It all comes down to Lebron being scared to shoot jumpshots again. If he played off of Kobe like that, he would just go and drain a J.

Diaw is a good defender when he feels like it, though. He just never put in the consistent effort on defense. He's slower now of course, but remember when he was young and played for the Suns, he used to guard Tony Parker well.
