Alchemist might be able to go beat for beat with Lib (still debatable though) but Madlib is on another level in terms of crafting albums.

Plus Alchemist whole style the last 10 years has been heavily influenced by Madlib.

Madlib got it off volume alone. Then the actual music goes crazy more often than not. I'll sit and listen to Madlib tapes, but I don't think I would check for an Alchemist tape of just beats like that.
