Seriously, Does Pete Rose REALLY Deserve Another Shot?

On the one hand, we all know baseball is suspect in that they looked the other way for years while their players cheated to gain advantages. So you would think, “sure, why not?”, right?

But I just have a problem with fools who VEHEMENTLY lie forever about something, then suddenly wanna come clean due to some selfish motive and yet have the audacity to think that we’re all supposed to just forget that they defiantly and arrogantly lied to our faces for years. This guy did an interview once where he THREATENED the reporter for bringing up his betting on his own team, but then ONLY wanted to admit it once he felt he had might have a shot at the Hall and other recognition.

Same thing with Ryan Braun, I wouldn’t forgive that hoe ass dude either. You threw a COMPLETELY innocent man under the bus to save yourself and salvage your OWN lies, and now that the TRUTH came out you just want people to forgive you for that shyt? fukk outta here…how Brewers fans can embrace that sorry ass dude boggles the damn mind, like y’all wanted to win THAT badly?

These dudes need to be held accountable for their fukk-ups just like ere’body else. Just cause you swing a bat well don’t make you beyond reproach.

its the hall of fame, not the hall of morals. while pete rose is overrated as a player and a hitter, he still should be in there. anyone who had a career worthy of the hall of fame who used roids or whatever else should also be in there

Man let all them nikkas in. Performance enhancing drugs are bogus. The general person can't perform in pain. But you give him pain meds to enhance his ability to play correct? A simple pain pill is a performance enhancing drug. I can't perform if i'm tired either, but they give me something to keep me up right? Performance enhancing drug.

Integrity. Where's the integrity in sitting players to keep them from "getting hurt" when people paid to see them?

As much as he deserves to be. You can't put a dude who gambled on games he had the power to affect the outcome of in.

He made the integrity of the game questionable. We not talking one guy on roids banging out RBIs and home runs here. He fukked himself cause he is a first ballot hof.
