seriously: how do jehovahxwitnesses support themselves?

Its 10 am wednesday and they got the whole congregation combing my neighborhood like detectives. How do they support themselves and are they a cult like the old school folks say? I was taught to burn their pamphlets when they leave them on the porch

my sister started dating a jehovah witness nerd nikka while she was at tuskegee and got brainwashed into that shyt almost overnight

now 7 years later they married and she just had his kid

damn them and their cult, my sister went from being a cool ass bytch to being a bible thumping weirdo who turns every conversation into some Jesus shyt and brings about 10 copies of Watchtower with her everytime she visits

I was raised Jehovas Witness AND Christian

But my grandma is one while my grandpa (RIP) wasn't one. If you would ask him why, his response was always "I don't give a hoot about it "

here in france it's the same thing. My brother is part of one of theses new church in town near to ours and one day he invited some of his folks at my parent's house. That was the first and last time. I told him he do whatever he wants (even if I was not agree and told him to be careful) but I didn't want me or the other family members to be involved with his shyt.
One of these mothefukker one time saw me in the streets and recognized me because he knew my brother and he tried to bring me on a religious discussion while I was waiting for the bus to go to work. I told him politly to just fukk off and that I was not interrested.

Im christian, its just i raised to believe they are not real christians and its best not to keep blasphemous things around. Burn it and get rid of it. Lotta hoodoo also down here and its just best not to tempt fate

My mother is a JW.. I used to go when I was young but I wasn't really into it. They have regular jobs just like normal people but the religion does make you extremely 'bugged out'. Go easy on them if they come to your door, especially the younger ones. That shyt is terrifying, only about 1 out of 5 JW's are really into the door to door thing.

Funny I actually got approached the other day. I was at the gas station and I saw a car slowly creeping down the main street, it was weird cuz the driver kept lookin at me....so I was kinda of keeping an eye on them. They pulled into the gas station lot, hopped out the car and walked all the way up to me and starting talking while i was pumping gas and handed me a watch tower. I finally read one of those thing...its usually like stories like a magazine but at the end is always some propaganda to spin it on how being a Witness is the only right way to be a christian.

Unfortunately I was raised in that religion but walked out a few years ago. It was tough and traumatic, but it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

As for how they support themselves...they work. But since they're taught not to have any career ambitions because Armageddon is so close (as it has been for well over 100 years) they have to focus on all that preaching nonsense and you won't find many of them in very high positions. The ones who are are looked down on for being "spiritually weak".

I was told Armageddon was so close we might not even make it pass the year 2000........there you go.
