Samsung put all that money behind this project so you can't be surprised at all the commericials that are coming out about it because that the primary means of promoting the project.

I'll reserve my judgements on the music for after it comes out.

I actually look at Jay-Z more as a business man, than rapper these days myself. Rap is just a means to keep his name hot so that he can drive other business avenues at this point.
