1. It's entertaining (or was until the Reign of Terrurh followed by Cenation).
2. Most of us got into it young and didn't see the racial archetypes until far older. The Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression Era still was trying to push brothers into the main event. Booker T's treatment exposed the business a lot.
3. We're still trying to reconcile all of this, and the show being trash makes it easier these days.

Yeah, I'm caping for Rollins. To quote Padme: There's still some good in him. Hopefully this is a wakeup call that he's in the big leagues now and his relationships will be scrutinized, and rightly so.
