I wouldn't say they "have" to be carried, I did call them wrestling royalty in the same post.

But in THAT match, Seth was the star by leaps and bounds. shyt wouldn't have been a quarter as good without him.

One of the best matches I've ever seen and I started watching right before Warrior/Hogan.

:beli::beli::beli:

Recency bias is a helluva thing, god damn

Lol @ Seth having no memorable matches

He fukkin carried Cena and Brock in that Royal Rumble match last year

Cena and Brock are like wrestling royalty and a match involving them 2 wouldn't be nearly as memorable without Rollins, and he was only added to it to eat the pin.

The fukk?

Nostalgia is way more rampant than "recency bias".

I wouldn't even say that about any other recent match.

You just said Lesnar and Cena had to be carried by Rollins for that match to be memorable/good. :dahell:

For a match to be one of the best of all time like you just said, all of the participants perform at an equal level that elevates the match way past than what the sum of the parts are in some cases.

It wasn't that good if someone had to "carry." :beli:

Doesn't even have to relate to wrestling skill, did everyone sell the story? Did the match flow? :lupe:

@RammerJammer Posted two gifs and he described those as the most memorable moments in the entire match. Legit spot monkey shyt but its one of the greatest matches in history? What story did it tell? Rollins was still a chickenshyt heel but he doing high spots like he an underdog babyface? Did it add anything in the storyline that was being built? :beli: :dahell: :scust:

It was good, and I thought Rollins performed well, but you on the same cocaine Warrior/Hogan were on in the 80s :martin:

If Rollins was a babyface, I'd be more sympathetic, but the fact is that he wasn't at that point and while the spots were very nice, it just didn't do much. :manny:

Uh no, those were the two most memorable moments. If not, then name the two most memorable moments of match. fukk all the "spot monkey blah blah blah" shyt, I enjoyed the match and that's all that matters.

I actually agree with your logic that all participants have to be good for the match to be good. I didnt mean they weren't good, just Seth made that match as entertaining as it was. And it's one match I'd watch again which I wouldn't do for most matches so yea to me its one of the best ever.

Your hostility is unnecessary but I guess I respect the passion.

I never said they weren't :manny:

Never said you shouldn't enjoy the match :manny:

Simply said that the most memorable moments were high spots that, while good, didn't do much to add onto the story in my opinion :ehh:

I enjoyed the match for what it was and how each competitor added their own thing, even if I find Cena's work to not be the greatest.

However, I just believe that the psychology behind the match wasn't the greatest and the performance wasn't to the point where you can call it one of the best

I do agree with your point about Rollins being a chickenshyt heel but showing out like a prime Jeff Hardy but that's how wrestling is now :manny:
