Henderson, 31, was shot and killed the morning of Feb. 26 inside her Milwaukee home, which was then set on fire.



"(The killer) Howze had been in jail until two days before Henderson’s death. He was arrested in Winnebago County on January 28 for violating the terms of his extended supervision from a prior felony conviction. He had fled from the police the day before. He was released on February 24. Winnebago county prosecutors filed charges on February 27 in connection with his flight."

"The document revealed Allen’s name and that of her alleged killer, Clayton Hubbird, a 31-year-old white man who police say picked Allen up at a gas station that night, then shot and killed her outside an apartment building."

"According to the complaint, Allen was alive for a brief time when police arrived and was able to tell law enforcement that her killer drove a black Tahoe with a baby seat in the back, and that they’d met at a gas station near Mitchell Park."
