That show really fukced a lot of women up.
For centuries women as soon as they're of age sought out Husbands to provide security and stability. Now the put Security and Stability on hold for sake of fun, adventure, travel and excitement. On the surface, doesn't sound like a bad idea, but closely examined, it's a horrible idea in the long run for most.
Like many things in life, the foundation should be the most important thing when you began to build anything. As we get older with realize that Security and Stability are the foundations on life.
There's an old tale of about one Squirrel grinding and putting away food for the winter and another playing around having fun. Winter comes, now the hard working Squirrel is relaxing and chilling, while the other is scrambling and begging. Winter is your 30s, this is for men too. Bullshytting thru your 20s is like picking out drapes and furniture, before even securing the land to build a home, let alone laying a foundation.
I think this is why a lot of good men look at 30+ year old women with disdain, especially single mothers. Most successful men ate shyt, was broke, got no love from women and had to grind hard thru their 20s. Finally started living better in theirs 30 so now they look at 30+ year old women, many who were partying and sleeping around and having babies with bad boys like "Bltch Please." And that's a reason many 30 year olds naturally reach back to the younger 20 year olds.
Another negative of the Sex in the City lifestyle is, it isn't as fun and wonderful as it looks on IG and TV. Many heartbreaks, a lot of credit card debit. A lot trying to keep up a fraud persona of success. Worse than that, after dealing with so many men, it's hard for you to pair bond with any man.
This goes for many men too, but most men don't have the options as women in their 20s.

Didn't writer/creator of the show come out and say she regrets making the show and living that lifestyle.
