If you have been falsely accused at work how can you protect yourself and can you be fired if it's a case of she said he said with no proof? And if my employer decides to take action against me can I sue for unfair dismissal as there are no witnesses and it's clearly false?

If she has no proof and your employer has no documentation of misconduct on your part, then you shouldn't be terminated (unless your employment is at-will and just cause isn't necessary). If you are terminated without any proof of misconduct, you may have a wrongful termination claim on your hands.

Check your employer's employment manual for more information regarding internal investigations for alleged wrongdoing.
