My mother is a doctor and after hearing about her co-workers and how fukked up a lot of them are, you lose the mystique view of doctors of being some ultraintelligent class of people.
A lot of doctors are fukked up and outside of their jobs live dumbass lives.
Oh yeah and a lot of the white male doctors are rabid fox news watching conservatives who she has plenty of
stories to share about them.Also hospitals as their administrative nature grows are becoming more and more like a business before a health provider where bottom line is more important than care. She worked at a few places where people aren't being exactly safe in order to turnaround more cases.
Always advocate for yourself is basically what she tells me and I always get her opinion on any medical stuff I deal with.
