Sha Money XL has revealed that his “so-called” beef with 50 Cent is little more than just clever marketing.

The music producer and manager stopped by The Gauds Show, hosted by Ray Daniels, on Monday (October 23).

In a snippet posted to Instagram, it was revealed that the G-Unit head honcho and the former G-Unit label president weren’t actually at odds at all.

“What did I do to you? Did I steal? Did I rob? What did I do?” he said to the podcast host, referring to the questions he’d asked his former colleague.

“I got you this money, bro. I was one of those foundational people. So, just say, ‘yo, good look for that, bro. Let’s just let it go.’ You ain’t even gotta say sorry, bro! But let it go.”

He continued: “I don’t want to work for you. I might make a good record for you, though."
As far as “good records” go, too, Sha Money XL has his own new joints that just dropped on October 19, called Message to the Streets, as he revealed on his Instagram page.

Once 50 ostracized Sha his music drastically…severely declined…that’s just facts. Sha’s ear for beats (and his own production) was super elite. He was the one going thru all the beat tapes submitted and picking the best joints for 50 to rock to. 50 should have never kicked him out the whip…especially not for wanting a couple dollars retroactively for all the free studio time he gave them nigs…50 just cheap, lol.

The only 50 albums Sha didn't do were Curtis & Animal Ambition. He worked on Before I Self Destruct and Baby By Me. People criticized The Massacre and he worked on that too.

If he's gone then he's gone. 50 did what he had to back in the day and life moves on. Why that nikka volunteering his services? :dead:

People criticized The Massacre's overall quality (songs) but the beats were good. The problem with everything else after that was 50 being so obsessed with chasing hits and pop records the it ruined the albums. Not to mention just bad songwriting and an inability to evolve. None of that is Sha's fault.

Sha was the type of person 50 could have used later on when he was trying to come back and was rapping over wack beats he thought were for the streets. Sometimes rappers need help picking beats. I'm always blown away that so many dudes knew how Jay was doing shyt (in-house production team, multiple trusted confidants to collect beats for him, etc) and had no interest in replicating it. Both 50 and Nas would have greatly benefited from that in the mid to late 2000s.

I feel sorry for Sha a little. He didn't get to eat like the other G unit guys did.

He didn't understand the business and played himself.....hard

50 was offering him something greater than gold and he was buggin out on him over pennies

so 50 gave him his pennies and stopped fukking with him forever
That’s 50’s side of things…
