He’s way bigger then y’all are not similar

Bodybuilding is about illusions. Shannon being a former NFL player is gonna weigh more but his muscle shape, fullness, and leaness is definitely achievable for anyone. You can't grow to be 6'2" 225 and that lean but I'm personally aiming to be 5'11" 200 lbs and that lean in the next year or so. I will be able to give off the ILLUSION of a similar physique despite our measurables being different.

You typed a lot that can be condensed as follows:

  • You hope to be big enough in a year to give off an illusion that y’all are similar.
So to circle back to your original statement y’all are not similar now. Period, full stop.

Obviously on the juice

:stopitslime:

You can tell who’s on roids.

I’m sure sharp has been lifting weight before high school and kept it that way, way after retirement. You can tell he’s the type of cat that wants to keep that type of physique or he would’ve let himself go like other athletes when they retire.

i stopped here. because clearly you are misinterpreting what im saying. youre agreeing. but just want to interject. i wrote

and this is facts. ^ you yourself admitted it.

it was for a tryout, not for competition or to compete or be a bodybuilder. it did its job, i saw the effects, and it ends there. i saw what it could do, a wine taste, but it was not in my interest to continue as i didnt want to be involved in the side effects. i just wanted a quick edge, and thats it. if id have continued it, would i have been able to lift 390? nah. not with my build. even if id have done it for 2 years, still doubt i could. would i have been superior to a natural version of myself. HELL YEA.
Nah, we are likely in agreement with most stuff, I was just a bit heated coming into the topic. And I think you would be surprised with the results if you stuck with it, to be honest. Not sure what you were taking at the time though.

Fukk outta here.

Shannon is 100% natty. And anyone whose trained knows what a peak natural physique looks like versus a roided up physique. His traps are small and his neck and face aren't overly wide. Guys who blast PEDs have those weird traits which is why they never look that aesthetic (imo). Shannon just has great insertions and is incredibly lean. They said he's only 225 lbs as well at 6'2". That's well within the natural limits.

The more you work out the more you hold aging at bay. Also why would a guy who made millions in football and is now a media star blast PEDs? If he did PEDs at any time it would be when he played. And he would have stopped afterwards.

Genetics definetly play a factor, but Shannon is on gear. Your body produces 40-50% less test when you’re 50. Shannon looks like he’s less than 10% body fat and he can rep 405. All of the guys with similar strength/physiques on YouTube are on gear. Look at Mike Rashid he’s around the same weight as Shannon and 10 years younger and he couldn’t get 405x2.

My goal is to be 200 lbs at 10% bodyfat. I could lean down right now to 180 lbs and give off the same illusion. I just wanna hit that 200 lbs just to say I did. But the illusion of size has already been met.

IM NOT SAYING SHANNON IS
OR ISNT ON PEDS...

BUT I DEFINITELY WOULDNT
BE USING SOME REGULAR ASS
STEROID nikka FROM YOUTUBE
AS A COMPARISON TO A NFL HOF.

ALL THOSE FOOTBALL nikkaS
HAVE CRAZY BENCH NUMBERS.

No they don’t. You’re just thinking about the few really strong outliers like Aaron Donald and Saquon. Go look at the NFL combine results, most of the 220 lb players are benching 225 for 20-25 reps. You need to be able to hit 225 for 30+ to bench 405.
How is a 54 year old stronger than Rookie NFL players? That’s not possible without roids.

:dahell:Those are NFL nikkas. Yea the'll get stronger, but that doesn't disprove my point.
Since when is it normal for retired 54 year olds to be stronger than collegiate athletes?

Men actually get stronger as we age (if we put in the work). Heath Evans a few years back did more reps of 225 on NFL Network than the best guy did at the combine that year. It wouldn't be out of the question for Shannon to be stronger than many of the rookies.
