Ehhh, it’s not black athletes but athletes in general. As a journalist, you kind of live by ur word. Ur not necessarily buddy buddy with the athletes and don’t necessarily have the relationship ex-athletes have. It’s why athletes that switch to journalism sometimes struggle imo. As a journalist you take what comes to you whether you get fired or not, but your supposed to live by your word and statements, regardless of what the public thinks or if it’s right/wrong.
