27 shots and 10 free throws isn't that efficient. That's basically 31-32 shots per game essentially when adding the two. 35 points on 31-32 shots isn't that efficient. People really need to stop overrating that season already. He didn't even place third in the MVP voting.

Scoring a ton of points on a ton of shots on mediocre efficiency while complaining about your teammates that you don't pass to all year gets you a scoring title, not an MVP. Get over it. If anything, the quarterfinals against the suns proved that Nash was the MVP and Kobe didn't belong in the conversation. shyt, LeBron averaging 31-7-7 on better efficiency and leading the cavaliers to 50 wins and all the way to game 7 of the semifinals warrants more MVP talk, as did the seasons Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki turned in that year. You go ahead and stay salty 11 years later though

Suns went from 29 wins to 62 wins when they got Nash and they had damn near the same team

Nash had career highs in points the next season, hit 50/40/90, and led Phoenix to 54 wins and Amare only played 3 games that season

He deserved those MVP's, he was killing the rest of the league. Act like Nash wasn't busting everybody ass

If the Spurs didn't exist he would have a championship.
