Downloading all types of unreleased Pac shyt that I had never heard before.

Remember when Linkin Park flooded Kazaa and Lime Wire with thousands of fake tracks to stem the potential leak of real tracks? I always wondered why more labels didn’t do that. If worked. I downloaded so much fake shyt that I simply stopped trying. Having a 56k internet meant you didn’t have time to waste.

I never really messed with Limewire, I was all about Soulseek and Audio Galaxy plus I had some janky way of recording RealPlayer media files into Cool Edit. The main thing I remember about Limewire is viruses upon viruses. I was the go to computer person for everyone around me. Anytime someone would say they had some kind of wild virus, one of the first questions I’d ask is if they’d been downloading music off Limewire. Most of the time the answer was yes.
