You jump in first ,I will follow right after.... and a 'test bite' of a great white would probably cleave away a nice bit of flesh,muscle maybe bone as well....

This is false. In most shark bite cases the victim is removed from the site shortly or right after the attack. I can garuntee you if a shark bites you he is trying to eat you. Sharks "test bite" thier prey so that it can bleed out and not put up a fight when it's time to chow down.
