I've read all three of Flynn's books, and I liked this one the least, but it was still a fun and dark read. I will be watching, it's a great, if very predictable Southern Gothic killer story.

The best book was Dark Places, which apparently was adapted very poorly, and was a failure on all fronts.

This was my second favorite of Flynn's books behind Gone Girl. Since HBO's doing the show and the director of Big Little Lies is directing, I'm expecting it to be really good.

All I see is cacs. No issue with that, mad movies and shows featuring only cacs were entertaining, but in 2018 it's hard for me to get excited about an all cac cast and I love murder mysteries
