The division graphics are way better, but Shattered Skies is pretty much everything The Division promised to be (and failed to deliver).

Its 90% PVP and 10% PVE (Aliens spawn at drops) where as The Division (ive heard theyve improved it recently) was more of a PVE grind and very punishable for engaging in PVP activities.

A: Shattered Skies is a full-loot-drop open world sandbox game focused on survival, looting and shooting as you compete with other players for in game objectives and rewards. You'll fight both aliens as well as other players in your quest for glory.
Q: IS SHATTERED SKIES FREE TO PLAY?
A: No, shattered Skies has multiple access packages for different prices. Shattered Skies does not feature any microtransactions ( even for cosmetic items ), season passes or paid expansions. Once you buy the game, you’ll have access to all game features and content for the rest of the game life.
Q: WILL THE GAME PRICE CHANGE?
A: Yes, we’re offering the game at a large discount to early supporters. As we move into Beta we’ll do our first price increase and finally Shattered Skies will get to full retail price at release.

A: Yes, Shattered Skies uses a full drop rule set for items in your backpack. Cosmetic items are permanent and do not drop on death.
Q: WHAT KINDS OF LOOTABLE ITEMS CAN BE FOUND IN THE WORLD?
A: A motley assortment of the following items are spawned in the world for players to find: Weapons, Attachments, Medical supplies, survival gear, food, water, armor, cosmetics, barricades, explosives, ammunition and much more.
Q: IS THERE CRAFTING?
A: Yes, players can craft various survival related items. Craft materials are held separately of character backpack and do not drop on death making crafting easy to manage.
Q: HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED ON EACH SERVER?
A: Up to 80 players can play at the same time on each server.
Q: ARE CHARACTERS LOCKED TO SERVERS?
A: No, your character, Global Vault contents, and all items within your backpack persist as you switch servers.
