As far the the UK Karen, it's no different than anywhere else. Some will make an actual effort to learn their child's hair, many others will butcher the child's hair into whatever semblance of whiteness they're comfortable with, and others will halfway-try then give up and let the child struggle to figure it out on their own.

It always happens when you refuse to see anything through than the lenses you know.
