Sheamus may have had last match in WWE and could be forced to retire

In fact, he’s held every belt possible in WWE except for the Intercontinental title and he’s a sure-fire Hall of Famer.

But, according to Fightful.com, he may have had his last match.

The Celtic Warrior has not been seen in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 35 and his former tag team partner Cesaro – with whom he won five Tag Team titles – has now moved over to Raw.

Sean Ross Sapp says there is a belief the company were just trying to get him to WrestleMania.

“I had heard last year that there were a lot of people that were surprised that Sheamus could still wrestle as effectively as he could considering some of the injury issues and the pain that he had been in,” Sapp reported.

“Honestly the thing I was told by one wrestler was that if he got through WrestleMania that would be really awesome. Not as if they were hoping that or the company was hoping that, but that wrestler personally was hoping that Sheamus could get through this WrestleMania and he did and that was about it. No update yet, but man, with a bad neck and then you get a concussion on top of that, that’s not hot.”

Not sure how accurate the reports are but it's on a few sites:

In a new report from The Wrap, SmackDown Live's run time will remain at a two-hour length when the show moves to Friday night's on the Fox network this October. There is no indication on whether or not a third-hour was ever in the running for the blue-brand series, as Fox's national primetime programming ends at 10pm Eastern, right when SD would conclude.

Reports claim that there is still a possibility that a wrestling extension, or a companion program could spill over to Fox Sports 1. It was announced by WWE Executive Talent VP Triple H that a studio show would air on FS1 on Tuesday nights sometime this fall.

When Jesse Ventura helped him win the WWE title was a fun moment. Always loved his stiff working style, had a dope theme and by all accounts is well liked and respected. Sad he couldn’t go out on his own terms but he’d make a great trainer or personal trainer in the gym.
By all accounts he was a piece of shyt that got humbled by Yoshi Tatsu.
