What I can say is what I watched, I didn't see anything special. Conversely, I watched Matt Stafford at Georgia, my hate for him being a Lion is legendary on this board but at the time, I saw one half of football from him at Georgia and clearly understood why he was projected to go #1. He has a bazooka for an arm. In contrast, Travis Hunter displayed godtier CB skills.

Nyggas really get triggered when it comes to Sheduer. The reactions are always extreme. It went from he should be a starter after the Carolina game to he shouldn’t be on a NFL roster after the Rams game. Both games highlighted his good and bad qualities. He was fighting to make the roster and he did. He’s just going to have to continue to work on his game.

As far as his draft status, I never viewed him as a first round talent, but I definitely believe he’s better than the 5th round. However, all the qb’s after Cam were in a similar boat, which is why the draft process is so important.

I don’t understand the attack on Prime when you could argue he maximized his talent. He got his boy with an underwhelming arm and athleticism drafted into the NFL The only reason you can fault him, is because a guy with his status and resources should have had the right intel going into the draft.

Dillion played very mid last week and I felt no need to slam him. I was on social media saying the Browns need to trade one of them so they can both get fair opportunities to play without either side tearing into them. Did Cacs give Shedeur that same grace and respect? Nah. They called that kid every name in the book

Yea it's crazy the o line wasn't blocking for Shedeur.

Shedeur can eventually be good. However, more and more I think Deion should have sent him elsewhere for his Sr. year so he can break on the field and off the field habits. Again I support the breh, but when on draft day he's saying he hopes the team that drafts him plays HIS MUSIC in locker-room/practice then his priorities are off.

Its clear that Shaduer wasn't NFL ready and is a long term project for any team that wants him.

Let him go elsewhere for his Sr year is asinine. Shadeur committed to go to Florida International (FIU) before his father became a college coach. I doubt Shaduer without his father coaching him in HS and College gets starter snaps almost anywhere in college let alone the NFL.

With his talent level do you think he gets drafted at all if his last name was Smith and his Dad wasn't the one coaching him?
If your father is the only one that can develop your talent its not talent, its something else.

Sending him to another school Sr year would've helped his development but having and possibly losing a QB battle as a Sr with his attitude would've made him undraftable. He also loses the Travis Hunter safety blanket if he leaves for another mid tier school. He dropped to the 5th with his college tape, imagine hes in a new system, fighting for a job, without his father's protection (like now), and he goes up for the draft.

Shaduer can be developed but hes never had a ceiling close to Burrows or even Purdy's current floor.

Sanders stans literally did the exact same thing after Gabriel's first start, including declaring the competition over lol. Let's be real: this circus isn't about football and it's driven by the weird cult of personality Deion has created for his family. This shyt is hurting Sanders more than anyone else yet they keep perpetuating it.

Rookie QBs are going to have ups and downs in the preseason. I thought everyone understood that until I saw damn near political arguments about why nothing was Sanders' fault, he was set up, the o-line didn't block for him, o-line players got cut after the game, etc. It's clear these people do not watch football, they've simply been activated by the cult of personality.
