People on espn and Fox saying the backup never gets first team reps but last night unc and ocho swore that backups get some 1st team reps. Which is it?

Also I think it’s kinda weird, you have a 3rd round rookie starting. Even if he was Tom Brady, he not giving up reps. But since he’s a rookie, how is it inconceivable that they aren’t like “buddy you need ALL the reps you can get” lol like the culture talks on these podcasts like the NFLs sole mission should be to make Sanders look good and cater to him

When Gabriel was a backup, the Browns were giving him first team reps.
