Funnywoman Sherri Shepherd is talking some serious business.
The former co-host of “The View” has always been candid about her personal life — whether in interviews, comedy routines or via social media — and now she’s sharing some harsh insights of her recent struggles raising a teenage son and paying child support to two ex-husbands
So much transition in my life I feel like my head is spinning… everything seems a little off… a lot of no’s being thrown my way… being told I am a ‘tough sell,’” Shepherd wrote on Instagram Wednesday about her professional pursuits
About her private life, the Emmy Award winner shared: "Raising my very moody teenage son by myself… (if you see his dad tell him his son’s mother needs a little help)."
Shepherd’s first husband, Jeff Tarpley, is the father of her son Jeffrey. After their divorce in 2010, Shepherd married Lamar Sally the following year.

Shepherd and Sally divorced in 2014, followed by a messy child support battle with Sally over their unborn son, who was being carried by a surrogate.
According to TMZ, Shepherd ended up “shelling out $4,100 per month” for the child, Lamar Jr., to whom she has no genetic connection.
“Child support payments to two baby daddies… gotta stay employed bc if I don’t the entire house of cards will collapse,” the best-selling author continued. “Always hustling… I never stop grinding... holding onto the promises of #jesus for dear life… taking my pain and making it funny at a comedy club.”
Shepherd — who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes -- believes her new lease on a healthy lifestyle has been a saving grace.

“If you had told me last year that working out would help my mind, I would’ve laughed hysterically— but it’s true,” she said. “Working out takes me to a peaceful place. But even in the midst of uncertainty I know that God is in control.”
Since leaving “The View,” the Chicago native has been steady hustling.
Shepherd, 52, has a starring role as a school principal in the new Netflix series “Mr. Iglesias,” and hosts the Game Show Network’s “Best Ever Trivia Show.”
Previously seen in “Precious,” the comedienne made her debut as a dramatic lead role in the film “Brian Banks,” which was released in theaters in August
