Life… One minute you're killing it, the next minute it's killing you…

Sunday evening, I underwent emergency surgery to remove a lemon-sized tumor they found in my intestines that caused Intussusception above my appendix.

Obviously, this came as a surprise to me. All day Friday, I experienced what I would describe as moderate-severe gas pain. Saturday, the pain progressively got worse until Sunday, I woke up and couldn't even walk…

At this point, I knew it was far worse than "just gas pain" and that I needed immediate medical help.

Within an hour of getting to the ER, everything happened so quickly, and the panic began to set in: They immediately performed a CT scan and rushed me to the operating room for anesthesia and surgery.
The good news is that the two-hour operation was successful in removing the tumor, my appendix, and part of my intestine.

Damn, I fell bad now. Hopefully she recovers fast.

Sounds like complications with Crohn's disease. Same thing happened to my wife. Emergency surgery and removed part of her intestines. Recovery is long uphill battle, prayers to her.
