I honestly thought he was slower than that, on the field he hits hard but plays slow. That’s honestly a solid time for a SS
40 time isn't the end all be all for a safety but he's not high on anyone's board. A day 3 pick if at all, long shot.
For what it's worth, he's the prototype in terms of personality/culture setting, but I don't know how much the modern NFL values that. A guy like Kam Chancellor was that, had a worse time and is an all time great. You just never know.
The UFL would love to have him if he doesn't get drafted, I'm sure.
What was Kam Chancellor time? He was hitter who was always in the right spot.
Quick google search says 4.62What was Kam Chancellor time? He was hitter who was always in the right spot.
The OP knew better. He wanted others to pile onDid y'all watch him play? I wouldn't care if he ran a 4.4 he's ass
Colorado’s defense looked better when Shilo was hurt. He was ok at times in run support and down right a liability at times as well (Kansas state game).
His highlight tape has some big hits but every single one of them was shoulder tackles and he doesn’t wrap up. Good luck doing that in the nfl at 6ft 195 lbs.
He’s 25 years old.
I’ve watched a lot of Colorado football these last few seasons and I’ve never gotten the sense that Shilo was one of the best players on the field at any point in time. Compare that to Shedeur, Hunter, Horn, Sheppard, Wester
