Ive asked a few women why they use "partner" instead on boyfriend and they said boyfriend felt like some highschool shyt.
which tells me they use it so other women dont think they are being strung along by their boyfriend

Perhaps is husband is a man you're suppose to stay with forever while a partner is someone you stay with until they become more of a liability than asset. There no gender roles or traditional in partnerships, just business.
