Holloway told KTBC-TV. “I feel like I shouldn’t have taken a shower.”

An officer found the suspect standing in the middle of a street and “he appeared to be naked,” Assistant Police Chief Brian Manley said at a Monday afternoon media briefing.

An 18-year-old man was shot and killed by a police officer after being confronted in the nude in an Austin, Tex., neighborhood Monday morning.

It’s unclear if the unidentified man was armed, variable that concerns Austin’s NAACP chapter.

“I don’t see how a young man, who is naked and not hurting anybody, winds up dead,” NAACP President Nelson Linder told the Austin television station.

It's also unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.

“This person was acting aggressively toward these witnesses and running around the neighborhood,” Manly added.

Neighbor Myneeka Holloway had planned to check on the man after seeing on social media posts about, but the cops had already been alerted.

The initial encounter was captured on a police dash cam, Manley said, but it failed to capture the moment the suspect allegedly charged the department’s 10-year veteran and the shooting that followed.

“Ultimately, you can hear shots being fired,” Manley said.

A witness heard the officer fire two shots without ever using his stun gun. The suspect died at a local hospital.

Hill was noted to be acting erratically when police were called; he had jumped from his second-story balcony in his apartment complex, and his speech was incomprehensible.[5] He had reportedly been running around the complex naked and knocking on doors[12] and lying and crawling on the ground.[9] The woman who called 911 told Hill's family's lawyer that she had called in order to get medical personnel to come for Hill.[8]
