In a 1-on-1 interview with FOX Sports following his introductory press conference with the Cavaliers, Andrew Bynum took a subtle shot at the Lakers fanbase when asked about Cleveland fans, saying that he’s never played for a city that “stands up and supports the team.”

FOX Sports: It’s not LA, but it’s Cleveland, and the one thing we know about Cleveland is this city loves their sports. What do you know about the fans here?

Bynum: “I just know that they’re really, really passionate and I haven’t had the opportunity to play for a city that is really just gonna stand up and really support the team, I’m super excited and I can’t wait to see what it’s like.”

At the time, no.

And after his new knee injury, not now either.

If the lakers don't trade him they probably end up giving him a max contract on those shaky knees. It would be one of the worst decisions of the franchise. So no it was not stupid.

nah, you all should have kept him

Sixers medical staff wasn't familar with his issues. Lakers were.

Plus, Coward just left and we all know Dwight is no where near the offensive player Bynum is.

Doesn't matter, Howard at the time was a better bet to anchor the franchise long term. Didn't work out. :yeshrug:

The Lakers were familiar with Bynum's problems, that why they didn't hesitate to let him go.

Anyone with common sense knew Dwight was going to bolt after one year. I told you nikkas this last summer what a horrible trade it was.

everybody pretty much assumed dwight wasn't gonna re-sign. everyone knew it was a 1-year rental.

well everyone except lakers fans

they live in their own little fantasy world where they're the premier franchise in sports that everyone is just dying to play for. they don't allow reality to seep in. people tried to tell them nash was old and brittle, dwight wasn't going to be comfortable around a hard-ass like kobe and that their bench would be their demise. they dismissed all of this talk, calling people haters.

then when the shyt actually happened they acted shocked:dead:

It's true. The Fakers fans here are a representation that. They cheer for the player over the franchise, team.

:russ:

Fans of other teams are made because Laker fans just like to know their players are dedicated and work hard.

Meanwhile Laker fans on this board still fill the team thread, are enthused about even the mediocre players we've signed this offseason and generally have a sense of optimism ... yet we're bad fans. Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
