Should GSW have let Klay go to get PG?

Not sure why people are acting like PG and Klay are equal. They are not. Paul is clearly the better player, though the risk isn't worth it.
Their Equal enough. Depending on the team, cast and coaching philosophy, Either guy can be a #1 option on an 8 seed.

PG is more dynamic, "athletic" and a better handle, but Klay may have the hottest i've ever seen and he didnt jack off on D like PG did once he became a prominent player in the league.

We've seen Paul George be the #1 option on an Eastern Conference Finals team (maybe even a #1 seed IIRC) though. And Klay can afford to not "jack off" on D (super-pause) because he plays with another player who dominates offensively more than him.

why is this unbelievable...I am sure Indiana called and asked for Klay and were shut down quick.
Yeah when you say it like that it's believable. But brehs talking like GS pitched this dahell, Klay is perfect for this set up.

very true, that pacers team was nice as fluck though . Lance will make em Dance led the league in trip dubs that year , George Hill was nice, David West was a banger, Hibbert was a solid rim protector ,Mahinimi and ET were solid role players, Scola as well.

TRADE FOR OLADIPO INSTEAD OF KLAY?

SOUNDS LIKE BULLshyt ON BOTH SIDES....

PACERS WOULDNT TURN THAT DOWN
AND
GS JUST HAD A 16-1 PLAYOFF RUN.
THERES NO REASON TO GET RID OF THEIR 3RD BEST PLAYER.

PLUS THEY WOULD HAVE TO GIVE PG THE MAX NEXT SUMMER
WHILE KLAY HAS 2 YEARS LEFT.

Pacers offered it

I don't think Paul George, in his prime, could comfortably go from being THE franchise player to such a reduced role with less notoriety as the 3rd of 4th best player. Furthermore, I'm not sure he can defend the best point guards every night as well as Klay.

George is the better player but Klay fits way better for chemistry.
