I wanna hear y’all input, I’m 31 have a few saved up in stocks and crypto and my credit score is in the 800s so I feel I need to leverage this into some passive income. I’ve had some interest in trucks, I don’t have a CDL or plan on driving a truck, I was goin to hire a driver and get contracts, apparently the trucking business is booming down here. My other option is rental investment, I’m thinking of getting a condo around uptown or downtown, preferably around parade routes and 2nd line routes. I was looking up how other airbnb do and New Orleans definitely has a booming market for this, people were selling months in advance.

I feel like with the Airbnb I can get more out of it, I’d have the luxury of bring woman over from other cities and showing them a dope spot I wouldn’t have to bring them to my apartment, or I can just have it when they throw a festival or 2nd line and I’m not booked

Both are costly upkeep but the airbnb sounds risky. You talking dealing neighbors, fixing up the build after ever customer, worrying about Squatters and etc.

Trucks are a must need right now, people will pay big bucks for a trucker but you got to sat in a class.

I'm planning on buying a condo in Myrtle Beach and renting it out on Airbnb. My uncle has been doing the same thing for the last year and he said its easy money. I don't even live in SC, so I would have to hire someone to clean, but after doing the numbers on the costs to run it versus how much it can potentially bring in, its still worth it. If you live in NO it should be pretty easy.
