Should I Stay In A Hotel In This Town?

I'm about to take this road trip and I'll need to rest near Knoxville, TN for a night. I checked the hotels and the one in this town is about $40 cheaper than the ones in Knoxville.

The town is called Sevierville, TN.

The racial makeup of the city is 95.64% White, 1.17% African American , 0.37% Native American, 0.93% Asian, 0.02%Pacific Islander, 0.73% from other races, and 1.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.62% of the population.

I googled the city and found this:

True but I'll only be there for one night. I'll get in town about 11PM and leave in the morning. What's the chance that I will run into some KKK rally? Maybe we have just seen too many black and white videos from the 30s and we are walking around too scared.

It's $40 cheaper for a reason ...always go with franchises and hotel/motel chains when traveling, it's safe and they have to keep the place to a certain standard because they can be sued.

Breh I just got back from Italy and according to the internet Italy is racist as hell ...I got there and felt welcomed. It's all about how you carry yourself.
I think you'd be good if all you're doing is sleeping. I stayed in a Super in the DEEP DEEP south, no street lights or civilization for miles, Confederate flags everywhere. I was good money, besides the gators in the parking lot. Just don't try to do too much mingling and bar hoppin' ...even though I fukked tons of down south southern belle swamp rat pawgs it WAS risky. As a grown man I know better. Just do your resting when you get to your destination, low key I even rented trucks before and slept at rest stops with showers, got 4-5 hours of sleep and dipped.

I'll post pics later if I remember, but just some friendly words of advice.

Its mostly whites yea but few locals, I've been through a time or two. Probably gettin good deals there cause its an off season for tourism and theress lots of hotels there. I stayed there on a timeshare deal, its safe, nothin but go kart tracks and putt putt golf. I saw more out of state tags than tennessesse tags.

I stayed in Knoxville, Memphis, and a few small towns, there were white kids with Confederate flags on their trucks throwing hotel parties, listening to rap and all that. Small town white boys be some of the realist cats you'd ever meet some times. They were cool with me and I even had pawgs with me a few times.

...as a grown man I look back and see how dangerous it was, but still all the same, just like in any hood ...if the wolves smell fear they'll attack. If he's sleeping for 4-6 hours and he's out, he'll be fine. Just don't have small talk with local pawgs at the ice machine lookin' to get fukked.
