Should kids be allowed to bring their cell phones to school?

When I go to see Dave Chappelle, he always makes us put our phones into these yondr phone sleeves, which can’t be opened after it’s closed until you get someone with a machine to open it.

If they have a button up option to put in a cubby in the front of class with each student name on theirs, I don’t see how that couldnt work (besides funding) :jbhmm:

Yes. We're not in the 90s anymore. There is a need to be accessible which means the kids having access to a mobile phone.

They should just put drop boxes in every classroom. It doesn't make any sense for parents and their children to be unable to contact each other for anything important.

I said in another thread they should have the box by the teachers desk and if a phone gets a call from the parent/guardian or emergency contact then they should be allowed to answer or call back.

Outside of class is way too far away considering we're shown almost every day how dangerous just being a student at school could be.

Stupid question really
Call the school then

With all these schools shootings and cops laying low, scared to save them? Fuq yeah!!!!
Give the teachers guns then. Im sure an assault rifle aint winnin against 20 tecs if they swarm or flank

THIS WASN'T A PROBLEM BEFORE CELL PHONES. YOU CALLED THE SCHOOL TO SPEAK TO YOUR KIDS. THAT WAY, THE SCHOOL KNOWS WHO IS COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR KID DURING SCHOOL HOURS.
This is true, but cell phones exist now so why not take advantage of the convenience? They just don't need to be zoned out in they screens instead of learning.

And if it's that serious then the teacher could just answer the cellphone. It's the easiest resolution to that problem.

Orrr i guess even easier would be for the parent to call the teacher but i don't fukk with that because for me some pandemic rules are still in effect

Millennials weren't addicted to phones when they looked like this. Give Gene Z this shyt and they'll behave.
That was probably the most beautiful photo ne ever designed.

Absolutely. They just need to learn discipline.
