There are many men out there who not only receive advice from women but are raised and shaped by them. Last time I checked they weren't in the best of shape.

Not just dating but life in general
I also saw this arguement in that other thread, and i think the logic is kinda flawed. For example, i think @Neo The Resurrected ONE used the abstract metaphor of a gazelle asking a lion for advice on hunting gazelle. @NoirDynosaur used a similar abstract metaphor about fish. But Lets apply this to human beings who are mentally competent, unlike animals.

Id like to counter that with the real world, concrete metaphor of the "male gynecologist". Neo's stance, would be like saying "male gynecologists are unreliable because they themselves are not women". This is obviously false. A male gynecologist can still instruct on women's issues just as well as a female gynecologist despite himself lacking the female plumbing system.

I think the same reasoning applies to men asking women about advice-on-women. If you are getting bad advice about women, from a woman; i think this reflects more badly on that particular woman, instead of women in general. For example, if we return to the gynecology metaphor, a bad male gynecologist is an individually bad person, but it does not detract from the ability of other male gynecologist to impart knowledge to women.

:mjlol: My girlfriend once told me she would love it so much if I would do everything she says and how much she'd love that. Knowing full damn well if I did everything she says and never stood up for myself and tell her no that she'd lose attraction to me. I just laughed and said no. I imagine her telling one of her nephews to do whatever the girl says in the relationship :russ: breh would be dumped in a week

Some women will give you advice on how to be the men they were taught to want not the men they actually want.
