Look at how much interest battle rap has garnered. Should mainstream rappers be more competitive? I am not talking in a "lets kill each other" way, I am talking in a "I want to spit the best verse/make the best album and stand out amongst my peers" way

Damn right they should. Especially since they(Drake, Kendrick, Wayne, Childish, Big Sean) are stay claiming that "King" or "best rapper alive" title. Publications are so quick to give them titles based off record sales or swag instead of skillsets
