Should states that receive more than 40% of their revenue from the federal government have less power in congress?

They absolutely should. But, it would ultimately cause a huge shytstorm with the argument of “states rights”

If your state is basically depending on big govt to foot the bill, then there needs to be firings from the top down. Threaten those Congressmen and Senators, maybe that could cause some change.

All that borrowing shoes is that the state is being ran poorly, ie southern states.

no, but the electoral college should be fixed. how the fukk does Wyoming has the same number of senate seats as California while having a fraction of California's population? :gucci::snoop:

Founding fathers were somewhat concerned about “majority rules” they discussed it as being a check on potential abuse

Or maybe some states need to merge. This goes for towns and cities as well. Hoboken, NJ for example. This should NOT be a city. But it is. With a police department and every other municipality. For a city that’s only 2 square miles.

founding fathers also thought black people were 3/5 th of a person and slavery not so bad. a state that has less than 600k people is having same senatorial power as 40 million state. :snoop:

You'd think that's what elections would be for :dead:
But the voters are so fukking dumb they vote against their own interests, thats how you end up with a politician from a mismanaged state like Kentucky being one of the most powerful people in his party

reminds me of most people on Obamacare being trump supporters/republicans while constantly voting for people who will try to repeal it. :mjlol::deadrose:
