I mean, they aren't utilizing the school system, but are subsidizing it.

is it any different than veterans and disabled veterans getting property tax exemptions?

These old ass nikkas helped destroy the futures of millenials and gen z through their selfishness.

Imagine not investing in the Children. You gotta live with them as they enter the workforce in a decade, so why not make sure that they're educated?

Nah, pay up!

The focus shouldn't be on the elderly and if you falling for the switcheroo you the sucker they want you to be........this is really about the corporations that are buying up all the housing and are trying to find a way out of reducing their tax burden............thats it.......they dont give a fukk about the elderly or anyone else.........they want to keep raping your pockets while protecting theirs

Work until you die or be homeless. That's the American dream

That’s the reality for the current/coming generations. The previous gens had it way easier.

And they don’t have to be homeless. They can get a cheap apartment from all the equity in their homes.

But they want to "own", it's part of the American Dream!!!

Saagar has been arguing this point forever. He’s wrong and I love Saagar.

His whole thing is thinking older people are well off, collecting all these benifits from their former careers and social security.

He’s wrong.

It’s called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it!

I’ve had this discussion with my parents. They complain about property tax. I always counter just because my sister and I are out of school, doesn’t mean you should neglect the next generation. You should be happy to live in a town where we prioritize education…. We already have enough dumbasses running around. Let’s try to save what we can. But this is constant discussion. Families live in a good town. Kids grow up and are out the house, parents of that household say “fuk dem kids”… new batch of kids grow to become retards.

I mean…they could at least bump up the age instead of getting rid of it entirely but should more homes be turned over for future generations or what?

either way this is the long term problem with both school funding AND suburb infrastructure funding
