Kobe 4 STAT

LA Gets Cap relief From Kobe's terrible contract, while mares expires and he's off the books this year

would have the most cap in the league,

and they can start the rebuilding process right away instead of having to wait 2 more years because of kobe

and they can attract fa's, unlike the last couple years

Knicks Would Get a 2nd Star to play with Melo
A Player who knows phil better than everybody

and who knows the coach dfish better than everybody

and knows the triangle better than everyone on the team

and nyk can start contending 4 a title right away

and will still have enough to sign 1 more max player in the near future

Marc gasoul this off season , maybe even make a run at KD in 2016

Works Out 4 Both Teams equally

I mean yea technically they can trade him but at this point it would be a PR nightmare and they would never do it, if trading him was really an option they woulda never gave him that much dough
I always felt the contract was that high to began with was because if they ever had to trade him, they would get returning near even returning expiring contract, or either fair compensation for Kobe's worth in the case they would have to trade Kobe.......And people ask why would they extend a injured Kobe, the Lakers are playing chess....................... people are sleeping though......

Kobe will not suffer his last years playing for some garbage team and that includes the Lakers.

If kobe doesn't like what's going on in LA, you better believe he'll bounce, especially if he has a little talent left in him

people bring up kobe's contract from a pure basketball-sense perspective. the numbers versus how many added wins it will correlate to.

the lakers look at kobes contract like its chump change compared to how much kobe will make them. nikkas in LA will NOT be tuning in to see the lakers with fukkin amare stoudemire out there instead of kobe.

Actually Kobe is literally untradeable because he has a no-trade clause in his contract.

he's literally trade-able. a no-trade clause gives the player veto power. if kobe agrees, he can still be traded.
