Should there be a race track?

Granted there are many racists who post race baiting threads and that should be curtailed some way.

However some good threads with interesting conversations that originated in "The Locker Room" have been moved to the seldom visited "Race Track" because race and/or racism is the topic of discussion. Given that this is a hip-hop themed forum with many black posters, issues related to race and culture are inevitably going to be discussed. Moving everything that has to do with race to some obscure low traffic subforum can stifle the conversation and kills threads. It almost seems like it is designed to curtail dialogue about race period and not just target racists, some of whom continue unhindered in their subtle or sometimes blatant anti-black comments. I think The Coli would only improve if "The Race Track" was removed and those who spread hate and negative stereotypes were penalized so that members can engage in entertaining and sometimes educational conversations pertaining to race and culture.

no, because mods usually have an agenda about what threads to toss in there. for example, the tyga allegedly hitting his wife thread is still active in TLR. however, the thread about that cac that brutalized his black girlfriend gets moved to the race track. @concise, why is that

I've always wondered why some threads get thrown in there on sight or after a few posts but others last 20+ pages

No I think it has it's place... leave the constructive conversations in the TLR and leave the shytty threads that regress into some negative vitrol spewing fest to the race track.
