Should these multi-billionaires in this “race to space” be racing towards more dire causes instead?

It’s a bit contrasting to know that multi-billionaires feel more compelled to have a “race to space” than they feel to have a race to buy land and end homelessness in a few major cities..amongst many other things they could be investing in instead of some race to space.

However, that’s just my opinion.

When you’re a billionaire you’re living a fantasy life. You’re flying too high in private jets with fine ass women to ever think about homelessness. You think grant cardone gives a fukk when he’s eating in 5 stars flying all around the world on his G5?

you're right, though space travel has also indirectly resulted in the invention of some pretty useful stuff

You elect people to take care of the more "dire" issues.

Bezos, Branson, Zuckerbuerg et al ain't your daddy.
