Paternity fraud is a horrible crime of epidemic proportions (nearly 30% of children are not sired by their putative fathers[1]), and should be punished severely. Given the sexual nature of the crime, people who commit paternity fraud should be put on the sex offender registry.

it would be hard to prove intent.

It's hard to prove intent whether a man truly wants to sire children though if a man ejaculates in a woman, he's held responsible by the courts regardless of the intent. I don't see how the same logic can't apply towards women who don't take the appropriate measures.

also, this will never happen because people need to understand that paternity tests and punishing the female who attempts paternity fraud is simply bad business for the government.

if more and more men woke up and stared doing paternity tests when they have doubts, or if they made them mandatory, more single mothers would go on welfare.

same thing withmaking it a criminal offense. Then women would be more scared to try it and would just either come clean and hope dude stays, or just go on welfare.

the government or justice system doesn't care about the men (or even the mother for that matter). All they want is for someone else besides them to foot the bill for b*stard children. by hook or by crook.

do u know how much DNA testing cost?

Nope. Don't care: pay some $ out of pocket or take care of a kid for 18 years that's not yours..

Don't nut in a bytch you can't trust.

:shaq2:

goddamn, just like a bytch trying to sidestep blame. Just answer the fukking question.

#hardonhoes

Lmao. I have no blame to sidestep, I don't have kids. But you're dumb if you allow yourself to get trapped. :yeshrug:

Just in case you can't catch context clues, no to the op.

mandatory paternity test before a male is named the father solves all that. force people's insurance to cover it if they have insurance.

consider the collateral damage of a man telling his wife or long term girlfriend he's gonna get a paternity test just to be sure. it should be legally required for all births. don't force men to have to damage their relationships by requesting it.
