Should WWE bring back the Cruiserweight belt?

I always thoroughly enjoyed the Light Heavyweight/ Cruiserweight division.

During the Monday Night Wars I always found myself watching Jericho, Malenko, Chavo, etc battle it out. Same on the WWF side.

Them having to even book a month ahead is troubling for them [allegedly] and they're happy they been having ppvs 2 weeks apart.

Hell no. They have a hard enough time with the belts they have now. The IC and U.S. Titles ain't gotten their credibility built up just yet.

I'm in the minority but I say yes, being that there are 300 hours of WWE TV weekly and I loved the cruiserweight division in WCW.

They could have a decent division if they broke up the luchas and matadores since they arent doing shyt now and grabbed some of the smaller guys like Nevile who doesn't seem to have a real direction (he would actually make a great first champ for a long run).

They would need to revamp of the titles anyway to get the credibility up like @jackswstd said though.

Let the small guys that aren't going to get pushed anyway compete for the Cruiserweight belt (with real storylines), turn the US belt into the TV belt (can have great matches weekly on Raw), and use the IC belt as the workhorse belt to prepare the holder for the main event.

The problem is that it would require creative to truly book it right

No, all of their lightweight guys already compete for the U.S./I-C titles.

When done right (WCW), it's a respectable title. WWE has proven constantly they don't care about cruiserweights.

in theory i want it back but what i wouldn't call it a "cruiserweight" title because that limits what these guys are and what they could potentially achieve. for example a guy like rey mysterio, while he may be a cruiserweight, proved to also be MUCH MORE than just a cruiserweight. so i don't know if it would be a good idea to box him in like that.

but an entire division devoted solely to the little guys (neville, callisto) and even the smaller athletic guys (dolph, tyson kidd) would be great. they should all be grouped together imo. not sure what they would call it though. "x division" doesn't sound prestigious enough.
