Should you get a background check on your mate before cuffing or follow your heart?

I mean like dudes literally be bringing strangers up in their spot on the regular. You bring em around your friends and family. You don't know this chick besides what you seen. You don't know shyt about the unseen.

Yes. Check references, job history and accurate dates, and check their social media for any signs of craziness. This goes for men and women:

My stupid cousin just found out her new "boo" just got out of prison for armed robbery after he lied to her and said he never went to prison. He had said he only went to jail for really petty things and was out within a week. And the best part is her dumbass got pregnant by him. My aunt is HOT. Like, not on talking terms hot because he was previously at her house so now she's worried that he may have staked out the house since they have nice things.

Chick I know wanted to mess with this dude that had a known record for beating the shyt out of women. Told her she was making a mistake. She misinterpreted that as me being jealous and got real arrogant on me. Well 5 to 6 months later I got call from her crying on the phone because he threw her down some stairs. The way she described it was literally like how Uncle Phil toss out Jeffery except for it was down mad stairs.

Convo barely lasted a minute. I basically told her that's unfortunate, had one word answers and made up an excuse to get of the phone.

YES!! Always get first and last name and go to town(google, private investigator, etc). People lie. Google is free and most criminal records are public . Don't play yourself. I learned the hard way

Yes you should. Think of it this way, your wife or husband is going to be the Co-CEO of your life forever. Wouldn't you want to do a background check on a new hire? Companies are doing background checks for entry level jobs at 99 cent stores, but you can't do one for the person you'll be stuck with forever? :childplease: these Kats are tripping.

People put enough of their shyt online to make it easy enough, and thats just with Facebook alone. Throw in Twitter, IG, and a google search and you got no excuses not to.

That ain't enough a chick's criminal history ain't on that.

When single, never ever brought "randoms" home. Girls I typically brought home:

1. Met thru friends and they were extremely vetted
2. Long time friends that "blossomed" into something (many I'm still cool with)
3. Girls who I used to work with who I knew (8 hours a day can do that) and knew what it was regarding other girls' interest so there were no hard feelings.

Glad a breh don't date these days.....:wow:

I check the public state court records for every person I personally interact with.
If you wanna be my friend, I gotta know your background.
Requirement of my sensitive govt position.
