With all the social security debates that have been going on should younger people be able to draw from it early. Say you are 35 and have a unexpected medical expense or maybe your car breaks down. Should you be able to take that money out for this and then maybe you are taxed is slightly higher to make up for it?

If it is getting taken out of your paycheck, absolutely. Little unfair to have money get taken out weekly/etc and you can't access it until 65. Life changing events can happen at any age.

Great post

I think it would be a really dope idea. I don't support any cuts to social security or raising the age of it but I do think this type of reform could lift some people out of poverty that are still relatively young.

shyt then everybody would take out. I heard that shyt is running dry already too so idk if this a good idea. Just give universal basic income
Nah it's a misconception about it running dry. It's mostly solvent and would be fully if it wasn't looted for other programs from time to time.

I think you should be able to get it kind of like unemployment however it would need to be some type of issue to which you won’t be able to work again due to health issues.
