I hooked my folks up with a He energy efficient washing machine for xmas. BIG MISTAKE thus far. I get about 3-4 calls a week asking me how to wash clothes. This washer is all digital but simple I thought for them to use. No need to fukk with the dial because it defaults to "normal/wash" and if you washing like blankets or delicates you fukk with the dial and then press PLAY. i told them ... You use the He detergent only (not the regular soap powder or liquid) in the receptacle thats labeled "SOAP" and fabric softener in the one thats labeled "Fabric Softener" and bleach in the area thats marked "Bleach". press the POWER button and then you press the PLAY symbol...thats it. I dont understand why its so difficult, they got iphones

I used to work at AT&T a long time ago & anytime old people would come in to buy a new phone, I'd immediately hit em with the :whoa: as soon as they started asking how to use it. I would just get the sale & hand em a card with the customer service number on it. :lolbron:

I used to work in customer service :pacspit:

my parents are decent with technology. I mean my pops used a computer in the 80's for work. however, I bought them a roku box so they could watch netflix and hbo, and that thing has 4 buttons on the remote literally. it took a while to explain the concept for how this worked to them.

Thank god for apple. I'm not even joking. Both my grandmas picked up the ipad and almost immediately knew how to use it (one is even had a stroke and is a little off). Old people know how to touch buttons. Steve Jobs was a fukking genius :salute:

Man:snoop:, this shyt happened the other day. I was at the new parking meters that take credit/debit card and this old bird (who was tryna look young and shyt), stopped me, pulled out her debit card and said, "Oh, these things work?" (1st ) Then "Show me how this work?" (2nd )

She sensed my frustration after an 20 minutes :mindblown: and hit me with "Ok, young man,!"

Aww shyt! This is so true! Man I try to be patient with the elders, but man they will wear on your patience trying to teach them technology.

Bump.

And there is no damn excuse for it...I mean how often in life can you use the "I'm old" excuse when others know how to listen and understand this stuff...

Old people standing in front of debit card machine at supermarket I. Front your register "its asking amount okay yes or no...what do I put"? :wtf: :what:
